Personal data
Gentlemen of Sweden AB processes the personal data you provide as a customer. Your data is never sold to third parties. They are only used to:
- Improve your shopping experience on our website
- Process your order
- Managing payments
- Communicate digitally, for example via newsletters
What data we collect
In the context of your order, we can handle:
- Contact details (name, email, phone number)
- Delivery and billing address
- Payment information (card or bank details are handled directly by our payment partners)
- Social security number, if applicable
- Products ordered
Who we share your data with
In order to deliver your order and process payment, we may share certain data with:
Transport companies: Bring, DHL, Schenker
Payment partners: Nets, Fortnox
For marketing and statistical purposes, we may share anonymized or aggregated data with:
- Google Analytics
- Google, Facebook
- Viral Loops Ltd.
How long we keep your data
- Comments are saved until you delete them yourself or request the removal of your profile.
- Personal data in your user account can be viewed, edited or deleted at any time (except the username).
- Purchase data is kept for three years to facilitate complaints.
- Three years after your last order, your personal data will be anonymized so that it can no longer be linked to you.
Cookies
We use cookies to improve the user experience:
- Comments: Name, email and website can be stored in a cookie for one year.
- Temporary cookies: Checking whether your browser accepts cookies; removed when the browser is closed.
- Login: Login cookies are stored for two days, layout choices for one year. For “Remember me”, login is saved for two weeks.
- Editing/publishing: Post ID cookies are stored for 24 hours.
Media
If you upload images, you should avoid including GPS data in the EXIF. Visitors may otherwise see positioning information.
Embedded content from other websites
Embedded content (e.g. videos, articles, images) may collect information about you, use cookies and monitor interactions in the same way as if you visited the other website directly.
Comments and opinions
When you leave a comment or review, we collect the information provided in the form, as well as your IP address and browser to detect spam.
- Your email can be hashed and sent to Gravatar to see if you have an account there.
- Approved comments can be displayed with your profile picture in public.
- Comments and reviews can be used in marketing, for example on the website or social media.
Your rights
As a user, you can:
- Request an export of any personal data we hold about you
- Request that we delete your personal data, except those we are legally obliged to keep (e.g. accounting records)
- Get data corrected if it is wrong
- Withdrawing consent for data processing
