We do not have a “Satisfied Customer” guarantee, but should it be the case that you have purchased a faulty product from us, we would of course like you to contact us so that we can investigate what is wrong.
If that is the case, we ask you to contact our customer service to file a complaint about the product.

How do I best use your products?

I am allergic, can I use your products?
Under Gentlemen of Sweden’s products you will find information about what they contain, should you be unsure, we recommend that you try to apply some of the product on, for example, the forearm
Someone has poked my Beard Butter Creme!
Since our Beard Butter Creme is a soft cream, it can sometimes look like someone has poked around in the jar if it has been dropped, hit, or similar during packaging or transport. This does not change the function of the cream. See the video below for an example.
What is the pH value of your products?
The pH value measures how acidic or alkaline a substance is, on a scale from 0 to 14. Hair and skin have a natural pH of around 4.5–5.5, which helps to protect against drying out and irritation. Gentlemen of Sweden’s products have been adapted to this to support the balance of the skin and hair. Our products with a slightly lower pH value (more acidic) help to close the hair cuticle and provide a smoother feel, while products with a slightly higher pH open the cuticle, which aids in styling and cleansing. Using products with the correct pH minimizes the risk of irritation and helps maintain a healthy scalp, skin, and hair.

UV protection
Gentlemen of Sweden products Firm Hold Paste, Smooth Grooming Tonic and Hair & Beard Shampoo contain a natural UV protection provided by Helianthus Annuus Seed Extract which is the technical word for sunflower seed extract. The extract both protects and repairs UV damage.
What does it mean that your products are vegan?
Gentlemen of Sweden’s vegan products do not contain any animal ingredients or by-products from the animal kingdom. They have also not been tested on animals.
The product is made without using substances that come from our animals, such as milk, honey, eggs, lanolin, beeswax or other ingredients of animal origin.
What does it mean for a product to be natural?
Natural means that a product contains few or no synthetic ingredients. Gentlemen of Sweden tries to use as few non-natural ingredients as possible and on all products you can see how much of the content is natural.
The fact that an ingredient is synthetic does not mean that it is necessarily bad, harmful or dangerous, it just means that it is not directly derived from nature.
What do your products contain?

What is the sustainability of your products?
Our products have a shelf life of at least 12 months after opening, provided that the packaging is not left open.
Where can I find your safety rules?
EU Cosmetics Regulation (1223/2009) only requires safety labeling if there are specific hazards or risks during normal use or foreseeable misuse, we have chosen not to state on our packaging that it is unsuitable to drink our shampoo or use Beard Butter Creme instead of butter for cooking.
Where is vegan beeswax?
As beeswax is not vegan, a vegan alternative has been developed that provides a similar effect to beeswax. In Gentlemen of Sweden’s products, the vegan alternative consists of the following 4 ingredients:
– Cera Microcristallina
– Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil
– Stearyl Stearate
– Stearic Acid

Are your products good?
We are of course a little biased when it comes to that particular question. But on the whole, hair, beard and skin care products are quite individual and of course not everything suits everyone so the best thing is to try some of our products and decide for yourself.
But to give a little background to our products developed by a grand master barber who has over 40 years of experience as a hairdresser and barber. All products have also been tested on several salons and lots of customers during the development phase before we ourselves were satisfied so it is quite likely that you also like the result.

How do I order from you?

Do you have a shop?
Gentlemen of Sweden does not have its own physical store but there are many hairdressers, barbers and online stores that sell our products if you do not want to order from our online store.
Do you have any discount codes?
We occasionally send out offers to those who subscribe to our newsletter. However, we never have “sales” or other discounts on our site.
How do I change the recipient after ordering?
Unfortunately, for security reasons, we cannot change the recipient after an order has been placed.
However, we can cancel your order if it has not yet been shipped so that the order can be placed again with the correct recipient.

If you accidentally placed a wrong order and we have not already shipped your order, please contact our customer service immediately and we will do our best to stop the order. If we have already shipped the order, we can of course help you with a repurchase.

When will I receive my invoice?
Your invoice will be sent by email when your order leaves our warehouse.
When will I receive my order confirmation?
Your order confirmation will arrive at the email address you provide when ordering within a few minutes after the order is placed.
If you have not received an email within an hour, we ask you to check your spam folder and then contact our customer service for help.
How do I create an account with you?
To create an account with us, just click “Account” in the menu at the top of the page. Under “Register“, fill in your email and click the “Register ->” button. We will then send you an email with a link that you use to choose a personal password.
If you have not received an email within a few minutes, check your spam folder so it hasn’t ended up there.
What payment options do you offer?
Our payment partner offers several different payment options, including invoice, card and bank transfer.

Do you comply with the General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR) and what does it mean for me?
Yes, we comply with the new GPSR regulation.
The GPSR is an EU regulation that ensures all products sold within the EU, both online and offline, meet high safety requirements. It tightens rules for traceability, risk management, and responsibility, especially for products sold via digital platforms.
For you as a customer, this means you can easily see on our products that they were genuinely produced by Gentlemen of Sweden AB.
We also mark all products with a batch number so that we can trace every product; it begins with SE- and is printed in black text on the lower part of our products.
We register and can trace B2B purchases for 10 years and consumer purchases for 3 years in the event a recall is needed. For further information on how we handle your data, please see our Integrity Policy.

Our products also comply with the Cosmetics Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009 and are registered in the European CPNP (Cosmetic Product Notification Portal) and the Swedish Medical Products Agency’s (Läkemedelsverket) database.
